Typically, there are 5 solutions to cure clogged sewers and drains:

1.    Auger: Mainly used on toilets
2.    Electric cable or snake:  Our technician would use cable equipment to remove and /or clear the cause of your stoppage, this will enable us to video inspect your sewer/drain lines to determine the cause of the stoppage.
3.    Hydro Water Jetting:    We use a high velocity water jetter to pressure clean the inside of your sewer lines, the cleansing streams of water are able to cut through grease, sludge and sometimes roots.  Our jetters use water that is propelled under varying amounts of pressure into the drain.  Benefits of water jetting include:
•    Cleanse the entire interior of the pipe enabling it to get those small blockages, grease and a lot of times, roots that could easily be missed by a cable or snake.
•    Enviornmentaly safe
•    Can be used on many different types and sizes of drains.

Video Camera Inspections

In some cases this service is complimentary, when receiving a main line sewer cleaning, so that we may identify the cause of the stoppage in addition to providing you with a permanent solution.  Video inspections can quickly inspect and reveal accurate information about your sewer and drain lines.  If you have a leak or emergency flooding situation the camera can identify the pipes damaged area after the stoppage has been removed.

Need help locating a line or determining the path of your drains?  Using our high tech equipment, locating drain lines and routes are made easy.  We can help locate those drains and assist you with any repairs or cleaning that you may need.

Helpful Hints to Keep Those Drains Clean…

•    Once a month, pour 1 gallon of bleach down either side of your kitchen sink, wait 20 minutes, then fill both sides of your kitchen sink to the rim with hot water and then remove stoppers simutainioulsy.  The volume and weight of the water will help flush the drain lines free of grease, therefore preventing a stoppage.
•    Clean pop-up stoppers in the bathroom sink and tub regularly.
•    Don’t pour grease down any sink or toilet.
•    Don’t put coffee grounds in any sink or toilet.
•    Don’t use garbage disposal as garbage can.

So to There are typically four solutions to remedy your clogged drains or problem sewer:

1. Electric Cable or Snake:
We use our cable equipment to clear or remove the cause of your stoppage, this will enable use to video inspect your sewer and drain lines and see why your drains clogged up.

2. Water Jet Line Cleaning:
Our experienced service technicians can water jet clean the inside of your sewer lines, thereby removing years of built up sludge, grease and scale. It’s like pressure cleaning the inside of your sewer pipes. This is the next step if our video inspection shows grease or sludge or roots. Using the electric cable on grease is like sticking your finger in a jar of peanut butter. It just makes a small hole. The jetter will remove all the peanut butter from the jar.

3. Spot Repair or Sectional Repair:
In the unfortunate event that your sewer or drain cannot be cleared, we can help you with that as well. Perhaps a spot repair or a section of pipe should be replaced. We will diagnose the problem and fix it right, the first time.

4. Complete Replacement:
In the unfortunate event that your sewer can not be cleared by cabling or water jetting and needs to be completely replaced, we can help you with that as well. Our experienced crews will excavate, install, and clean up the work area so that it looks like we were never there.

•    The Three Stages To Sewer Damage:

•    1. Roots have entered the sewer system, causing partial stoppage. This can usually be spot repaired by cabling or water jetting. However this would only temporary.

2. Roots have clogged the sewer system causing serious damage. This can be fixed permanently by replacing a section of your sewer, or temporarily by water jetting.

3. Roots have caused the sewer to collapse or have severely damaged the pipe. This usually causes a catastrophic stoppage. Sewer rehabilitation will be required.
